My goodness, burgundy has always been one of my absolute favorite colors, and I love that there is so much more of it around in current fashion trends! I was so excited to get these classic pumps in this gorgeous shade.In terms of appearance, the color is stunning. It isn't a loud or overly bright burgundy; rather, it is a very rich, deep wine color that looks incredibly elegant. The patent leather finish is gorgeous—it makes the deep color pop beautifully, but in a polished, sophisticated way that doesn't look flashy at all.When it comes to comfort, these 3-inch stiletto heels really surprised me. They are padded very well on the inside, offering great cushioning that makes the footbed feel incredibly comfortable right away.Regarding fit and sizing, I usually hover between a size 8.5 and a 9 depending on the brand and style. I have noticed lately that size 9 in dressier styles tends to run a bit large on me. I ordered these in a 9, and while they are comfortable, they do run a little big. Because they lift slightly off my heel when I walk, I think an 8.5 (or maybe even an 8) would have provided a more snug fit. Thankfully, it's an easy fix—I can easily pop a heel insert inside to prevent any slipping.Overall, these stiletto pumps are absolutely beautiful and offer fantastic styling versatility. They are the perfect classic dress shoe to dress up a pair of jeans, wear to the office, or style for a special night out. They look high-end, feel comfortable, and offer amazing value for such a timeless look. I absolutely love them and can't wait to wear them out!
